Find a lawyer that will work for a percent of settlment. My sister was driving with a friend of hers when he ran a red light and was T-boned, her head hit the glass and he was not wearing a seat belt causing his head the hit her jaw and snap it clean in half. She got a $175,000 settlement, and it caused no permanent disfigurement, just wired her jaws shut for like 2 months. We sued his insurance company, but the lawyer worked for nothing up front, and got like 15% I believe. To my knowledge, some lawyers will do a case like this, if they see profit (IE it winning in court) so you may want to do that, and then maybe beat his ass for good measure, that or just spray him with a good douse of pepper spray.
